Five Politically Revolutionary Social Skills

Five Politically Revolutionary Social Skills

Revolutionary skills? You might ask. I’ve ended up here because I’m interested in why I don’t feel like going out very much anymore. But this is about overthrowing the government?

Not necessarily. I do not employ the word revolutionary here to indicate either hostility toward governments or a need for violence (even though both things might sadly be necessary for many types of social change). Instead, I’m taking up this word to indicate the truly radical nature of the changes that would be needed both to reverse our increasing isolation and to address the very dire social and political problems we’re facing beyond that. We need no less than some kind of revolution, a true turning-around, to survive this century.

If you’ve been feeling powerless to fix things, read this, work on yourself, then join a movement.
